It was just 12 months ago that Alex Le Tissier was celebrating. Southampton had just been promoted back to the Premier League - and that meant her OnlyFans was about to hit the big time.

A year in the top flight has seen the self-proclaimed 'club OnlyFans mascot' rake in an extra £7,000. Fans of her side's opponents - be it Manchester United, Liverpool, or Arsenal - are interested.

But that, for Le Tissier, is where the concern comes in. After a near-record breaking season - and not in a good way - Saints are heading for the Championship.

'I noticed a big shift in my earnings when we went up,' Le Tissier exclusively tells Mail Sport. 'It went massively up and now I'm really scared it's going to cost me fortunes because we're going back to the Championship. I feel like my team really affect my earnings and I'm now panicking.'

Le Tissier is a wife and mum of four, and provides for her family. Her OnlyFans is her income - and could impact her lifestyle if income is slashed in the next few months. Good or bad - attention equals cash.

'If Southampton play really well my Twitter views will go up because people want to see if I have done something in a Saints shirt or said something about the game,' she adds. 'It really works out in my favour and at the moment it's a case of everyone taking the mick out of me.

The model tells Mail Sport her earnings went up by around £7,000 when the Saints were promoted to the Premier League

They are, though, heading back down following a near-record-breaking season in the top flight

'It's going to be awful if it goes massively down. When Southampton are in the Premier League, with all the teams they are playing against, their fans will talk about me online, even if they're making fun of me or whatever. It keeps my name out there and I am panicking because the Championship teams, I don't think they know me as well.

'I think this is the worst they have ever been. I can't exactly jump ship to another team, that's just not how it works. It's just a really horrible time.'

Le Tissier - who says she feels as though the club's players have 'let me down' - is a genuine Southampton fan, often attending games at St Mary's and sporting her side's colours in social media photos.

Her name helps, of course. She married the son of Saints icon Matt Le Tissier, giving her a direct association for fans.

'There are pros and cons to it,' she admits. 'I feel like I don't have to do as much work as other football OnlyFans girls because my surname is so connected to football.

'People have really associated me with the club to the point where at times it feels like I'm the manager or something and it's my fault they've lost all these games.

'We need a massive clean out of so many things and if they go back up again I feel like it'll be just another year and they will go back down again until everything changes properly. It's a nightmare.

'I'm just really worried. Time will tell.'

Alex is married to Matt Le Tissier's son, Mitchell - but they are not on speaking terms with the Saints icon

She tells Mail Sport that Matt (left) tried to reach out but that Mitchell wasn't interested

Le Tissier told Mail Sport in May last year that her family and Matt weren't on speaking terms. The fallout started after she set up an OnlyFans account to make ends meet, but said she 'never really felt accepted'.

In 2022, Matt lashed out at his son and and Alex, telling The Sun: 'I do not want anything to do with them anymore.'

Mitch told the publication at the time: 'It's been over a year since I've spoken to any of my family including my dad and stepmum.

'They didn't take it well. I expected them to disagree with our decision but I would have hoped they were open-minded enough to accept it was ours to make.'

Alex tells Mail Sport: 'Things are still as they were. I do find it interesting because my husband did say to Matt that he should calm it down with the [conspiracy] tweets and stuff. I don't know if it's damage control or not but he's not really said anything controversial in a while, so I don't know if he's taken his advice.

'He reached out over Instagram to my husband but there's not been any proper make up. I think he wants it, but I think my husband is still wanting space from him.'
