Some fans believe Seagrave is to blame for players being lacy and not hungry enough to be able to win enough games. But instead you must look at this as the jewel in the crown.
Leicester are relegated from the top flight, but Seagrave will be the next major thing for Leicester. The job going on in the academy at the club is impressive. The place in itself speaks heavy volume about the ambition. Leicester do have every chance to become one of the major forces in English football. This is because of their fantastic facilities at their new training ground complex. Things are happening as we speak. However, so far, results are not seen in the first team. Hopefully, this will turn drastically in the next seasons coming up.
They have in the recent past been able to bring forward players such as Ben Chilwell, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andy King, Hamza Choudhury, Luke Thomas, Harvey Barnes and Jacob Stolarczyk. They were nursed forward at Belvoir Drive. The club’s current talent flourish must be better than ever.
Trey Nyoni, Jeremy Monga, Jake Evans are young prospects in their mid-teens. They already attract attention at the senior level, and they are not alone. Louis Page, Lorenz Hutchison and Olabade Aluko are three other names to notice.

The club is a force in The Midlands. A young player can reach the highest level here. It is one of the best places in English football to develop. Leicester will grow to become the top club in this area again, no doubt about it. Aston Villa, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Wolves, Coventry, Forest, and Derby are other clubs in this area. They will be hunting much of the same talents. However, we believe Leicester will be the winner long term.
What we have seen from the U.18 and U.21 team this season is promising. Younger players are getting the opportunity. This will surely lead to their talent exploding in the years to come.
Looking at the U.18 and U.21 group of players, most are from the Leicestershire area. However, you have other talented players from other places as well. These facilities will be the reason for Leicester’s progress in the years to come. It will not be adding free transfers of 30-year-olds, as was done by Steve Cooper in the summer.
There are gaps and difficult matters to address. Hopefully, Leicester will sort their own situation out. They can build on their major asset, which is their academy and fantastic training facilities.
