“That’s Where The Line Is Drawn”: Cam Newton Chimes In On Ryan Clark’s Comments About Rgiii’s…

Cam Newton, retired NFL quarterback, gave his take on the feud on X between Ryan Clark and Robert Griffin III. After RG3 gave his opinion that the WNBA’s Angel Reese overreacted when she lunged against Caitlin Clark after she was slapped on the hand during a game, Ryan Clark commented that the former Washington Redskins quarterback could not understand the struggles of black women since he was married to a white woman, Grete Griffin.

RG3 responded to Clark’s comments on his personal life and his marriage that the take was definitely not necessary. In a recent episode of his podcast, Cam Newton commented on the same, defending RG3 and calling out Ryan Clark for opinionating on his personal life and choices.

“That’s opinionated. When you speak about specifics that takes place in a household, that’s where the line is drawn.” Cam Newton said during his ‘4th & 1 With Cam Newton’ show on Wednesday.

Robert Griffin III and his wife, Grete Griffin have been married since 2018 after meeting on Instagram in 2016. RG3 hit it off with Griffin on Instagram and got married to her a few months after his divorce from Rebecca Liddicoat was finalized.

Meanwhile, Cam Newton last played in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers before announcing his retirement back in 2021. Before that, the quarterback played for the New England Patriots. Newton actually started off his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, whom he played for from 2011 to 2019. The 36-year-old was selected by the team as the very first pick in the first round of the NFL draft.

The Carolina Panthers will be hoping that their upcoming NFL season is much better than their previous year. Last year, the Panthers finished third in the NFC South with five wins on the season and 12 defeats. The Panthers played their very last game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons, winning in overtime with a final score of 44-38. However, their win was a little too late for them to proceed in the tournament.
