Leicester City's Jamie Vardy is reportedly in the crosshairs of Valencia as a prime summer transfer target. The striker is poised to part ways with Leicester upon his contract's expiry this summer at the King Power Stadium and has been previously linked with a move to Leeds United.
He bid farewell to the club in grand fashion by netting his 200th goal on his 500th outing during their 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town on home turf last Sunday.
In Leicester's final match of the season against Bournemouth, managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, Vardy will be absent from the pitch.
Though Vardy seems favourably disposed towards sticking with the Premier League, he's also been touted for a stint stateside in MLS, reports [Leicestershire Live](https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jamie-vardy-transfer-twist-new-10208441).
The Sun's latest scoop suggests Vardy could be heading to Spain, with Valencia manager Carlos Corberan already "keen" and moving to entice him to Mestalla. Discussing Vardy's prospects on talkSPORT, pundit Ally McCoist conjectured: "Something tells me that he's got something organised. Whether it's America or another club, I think he'll have something organised."
The veteran striker continues to be linked with a free transfer to Elland Road, although there has been no suggestion from the club at this stage that it is a deal they are looking to get done.
