Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool interested in England winger

Liverpool welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield as the Premier League season draws to a close on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds stormed to the title for just the second time in the club’s history, but have since failed to win any of their three matches in the competition, losing twice and drawing against Arsenal.

Arne Slot will hope to see his side improve when they face Palace, with the two sides also scheduled to meet at the start of next season in the Community Shield following the Eagles FA Cup triumph last weekend.

In the meantime, it has emerged that Liverpool are one of a number of Premier League sides that could be chasing an England international this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are also considering reigniting their interest in Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon this summer.

The 24-year-old was included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for upcoming games against Andorra and Senegal, having impressed for the Magpies this season.

Since joining Newcastle from Everton in January 2023, Gordon has scored 22 goals and provided 23 assists in 105 games for the North East side.

The Englishman’s impressive form has attracted interest from some of England’s biggest clubs, but Eddie Howe will be reluctant to lose such a key player.

Chelsea had previously tried to sign Gordon during his time with Everton – when Tuchel was in charge of the Blues – but the report claims that the West London side could make a move to sign the winger this summer.

Liverpool and Arsenal, meanwhile, are said to be monitoring the player although they could be deterred by Newcastle’s £70-75 million valuation of the player.

Gordon is under contract at St. James’ Park until the end of the 2029/30 campaign.
