**It was recently reported that Manchester City have Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento in their sights as a replacement for England full-back Kyle Walker.**
Veteran right-back Walker has been on loan at AC Milan for the second half of the season and will leave the Cityzens in the summer after eight years at the club.
While Pep Guardiola has deployed Matheus Nunes and Rico Lewis at right-back since Walker's departure, he is in the hunt for a player more suited to the role.
Tino Livramento has been reported as being one of the players on Pep's list, and that has now been confirmed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano says a deal for Tino Livramento will not be easy
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Italian journalist previously reported Man City's interest in [Newcastle's £32 million full-back](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12935910/newcastle-sign-tino-livramento-from-southampton-for-initial-transfer-fee-of-32m), but now Romano has claimed he's the top of City's list.

Newcastle won't want to lose Tino Livramento this summer
--------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle United are determined to keep their stars at the club this summer, and 22-year-old Livramento definitely falls into that category, which is likely why Romano claims a deal will not be easy.
Tino Livramento has developed into a great player under Eddie Howe and has recently been playing on the opposite flank to what he's used to following an injury to Lewis Hall.
There's clearly some room for improvement in Tino's game, particularly going forward, but he has what it takes to be a top, top player, and we hope that he will realise that potential while still at Newcastle.
