Club ‘doing everything’ to sign Wolves player – Will take full transfer or loan

Feyenoord are ‘doing everything’ to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Hugo Bueno again next season, even if that means another loan deal.

That’s [according to 1908.nl](https://1908.nl/artikelen/feyenoord-doet-er-alles-aan-om-hem-nog-een-jaar-te-huren-of-te-kopen), relaying information from Voetbal International, who say the Dutch club are determined to keep the Wolves man beyond the summer.

Bueno has been on loan with Feyenoord since the summer, signing on a season-long loan deal when it was made clear that he was not a part of their plans for this season.

He’s made a positive impression in the Netherlands, particularly when they were in the Champions League.

They’ve been determined to keep him as a result but the likelihood of that happening has seemed slim, with Wolves surely wanting their loanee back and him one of three left-backs in the current Feyenoord squad.

VI, though, repot that despite the Dutch side saying their goodbyes after the last round of matches, a renewed stay is now completely out of the question.

‘Feyenoord is doing everything it can to rent him for another year or buy him,’ they are quoted as saying on the matter.

Feyenoord manager Robin van Persie has also expressed positivity about a longer stay for the 22-year-old publicly and Voetbal International journalist Martijn Krabbendam believes that talks with Wolves are already in full swing.

“I think he will return. Feyenoord is doing everything they can to rent him or buy him for another year. The Bueno camp does not see that as impossible either,” he is quoted as saying.
