Celebrity softball game Friday features Green Bay Packers

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - Friday night, football players hit the baseball diamond for the 25th annual Green Bay Charity Softball Game.

The event is now [**hosted by quarterback Jordan Love**](https://www.wbay.com/2025/05/08/packers-qb-love-host-25th-anniversary-green-bay-charity-softball-game/). Previous hosts included Brett Favre, Donald Driver and Jordy Nelson.

This year’s event raises money for Love’s Hands of 1ove Foundation. It hosts football camps for kids in Wisconsin and Love’s hometown of Bakersfield, Calif., and other charitable efforts.

First-round NFL Draft pick, wide receiver Matthew Golden, is set to join in the fun.

The game starts at 5 p.m. at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Stadium and Neuroscience Field in Grand Chute.
