AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on May 21 as it went head-to-head with the NBA and NHL Playoffs.
According to Wrestlenomics, 575,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.15 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 682,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.17 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?
This week’s show kicked off with Hangman Page and Will Ospreay in an excellent face-to-face promo ahead of Double or Nothing.
Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Samoa Joe defeated Jon Moxley and the Young Bucks in an All Star Trios match.
In other action, Ricochet defeated Anthony Bowens. After the match, Mark Briscoe attacked Ricochet with a stretcher.
The main event saw Mina Shirakawa defeat Julia Hart. Afterward, both teams in Anarchy in the Arena brawled to end the show.
