Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey Trade Aspirations Get Discouraging Update by NFL Insider

The Miami Dolphins have fielded one of the best offenses in the National Football League in recent years with the stellar play of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and receiver Tyreek Hill capturing the hearts and minds of fans, and fantasy football players, across the country.

Coach Mike McDaniel and his staff have worked tirelessly to improve the Dolphins' defense to varying degrees of success with the team spending its 2025 first round pick on Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant.

On Friday, NFL insider and podcaster Bill Barnwell ripped the band aid off of the Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey situation, sending a warning to Dolphins fans on the longtime superstar cornerback.

The Dolphins and Ramsey seem willing to part ways via trade, but NFL insider Bill Barnwell thinks that is unlikely to happen.

"They are least likely to find a good solution to their most pressing problem, and that is Jalen Ramsey, the legendary cornerback who requested a trade; it feels like both sides want to do something, the problem is he put this request in in the middle of April," Barnwell said.

"At which point, a lot of teams frankly had spent most of their money for the offseason," he added, saying that it's going to be a problem for most teams to find the money for Ramsey in their budget.

Barnwell said that the Dolphins may have to "eat that money" allocated for Ramsey if they can't find a suitor via the trade market, for the sole purpose of getting him off of their team heading into the 2025-26 NFL season.
