Tyler State Park in Newtown, Pennsylvania, is closed until further notice due to an accident involving a park resource ranger earlier Friday, state officials said.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources said the accident happened just before noon on Friday in the Neshaminy Creek.

Pennsylvania State Police said water rescue teams have been searching the creek since noon for a missing kayaker.

PSP is investigating the incident.
