The 2024 Philadelphia Eagles compiled a 14-3 regular‐season record and overcame a 2-2 start by winning 12 of their final 13 games.
Carrying this momentum into the playoffs, Philly then went on to clinch their first Super Bowl title since 2017 with a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
On Friday, now just a few months removed from their Super Bowl win, the Eagles shared a clip from a team‐building session at the historic Palestra in Philadelphia.
In the brief video shared on X by the Eagles, running back Saquon Barkley, fresh off a record‐setting campaign, lobs an alley‐oop pass off the backboard to rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean, who elevated for a two‐handed slam.
The post was captioned, "THE OOP! THE DUNK! ð¤¯".
The clip immediately went viral on social media.
One fan reacted, saying, "Cooper is a hell of an athlete. Taking the feed from Saquon, nice."
Another user replied, "Nah that's crazy," followed up by one commenter with, "yo... Sheesh."
One other fan commented, "Hard af," to which another responded, "Wow!"
Another fan reacted with, "Absolute freak."

Barkley joined the Eagles as a free agent on March 13, 2024, signing a three‐year, $37.75 million deal after spending his first six seasons with the New York Giants.
In his inaugural year in midnight green, Barkley led the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards and added 15 total touchdowns, breaking the Eagles’ single‐season rushing record and becoming the first player in franchise history to eclipse 2,000 ground yards in one campaign.
DeJean, meanwhile, was selected 40th overall in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa and started his first game in Week 6.
He etched his name in Eagles lore by intercepting Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter of Super Bowl LIX, returning it 38 yards for a touchdown, the first Super Bowl pick‐six in team history, all on his 22nd birthday.
