It just wouldn't be a proud and public message from a mom if it did not come with a wee bit of embarrassment. For Bryce James, even as the son of one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the game, that was on full display on Friday as he moved on with his graduation from Sierra Canyon High School.
Bryce James, of course, is the son of Lakers star LeBron James. With his prep career now behind him, he will head to Tucson and suit up for Arizona next season, after committing to Tommy Lloyd's bunch last month.
James is a 6-foot-4 guard who was pegged as a three-star prospect by both ESPN and 247 Sports. He also had offers from Ohio State and Duquesne before picking the Wildcats.
But before he heads off on that endeavor, his mom was there to reveal to the world his decidedly embarrassing nickname: Stink.
