NBA Shooting Legend Reggie Miller Sends Clear Message to Knicks Fans on Friday

Depending on how things pan out, it's possible that Friday will mark Reggie Miller's last trip to Madison Square Garden as a TNT broadcaster.

Miller's current contract with TNT will expire at the end of this season, which coincides with the network's TV deal with the NBA also coming to an end. This means that the Eastern Conference finals between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers is going to be TNT's final NBA broadcast.

The Pacers stole Game 1 in MSG on Wednesday, and another win on Friday would see them go up 2-0. This would put them in a position to potentially sweep the series as it shifts to Indiana for Games 3 and 4.

On his way to MSG before the big game, Miller sent a clear message to Knicks fans about what he expects from them on Friday night.

"I'm sure tonight we'll hear the FU chants, FU Reggie chants, which I actually do kind of like, people. I do," he said.

Miller has a long history with the Knicks, dating back to his playing days with the Pacers. There's clearly no love lost between the NBA shooting legend and the New York faithful, and Miller is expecting another savage welcome from them in Game 2.

As he revealed, however, Miller has already grown to love the ferociousness of Knicks fans. He also went on to say something "nice" about them.

"Knicks fans are so passionate about their team and teams in New York," he said. "That's what I like about them."

Be that as it may, everyone knows deep down who Miller is cheering for in this series. He might be doing his best to keep his bias in check as part of TNT's broadcast team, but there's no denying that he would very much love to see the Knicks crash out in the East finals at the hands of his Pacers.
