Bills Moves Draw Comparisons to Super Bowl Eagles

Determining which teams in the league have been the best over the last few years doesn't take long. The Kansas City Chiefs have been the most dominant team. The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the few teams to have shown that they have their number.

The Buffalo Bills may be a half-step behind those two top teams, but they aren't far off—especially after their successful offseason of key additions.

ESPN insider Bill Barnwell likes what Bills general manager Brandon Beane has done this offseason. So much so that he believes Buffalo's work rivals that of what the Eagles were able to accomplish last offseason.

"Should the Bills have taken a bigger swing? Beane probably played this correctly," Barnwell wrote. "It's tempting to look at the Eagles and their impressive 2024 free agent class as proof that he should have been more aggressive, but remember that Howie Roseman's most successful signings last year were in the middle of the market."

In 2024, the Eagles brought in quality starters like Zack Baun and Saquon Barkley. This offseason, Buffalo added veterans like Joey Bosa and Joshua Palmer.

While it's doubtful a receiver like Palmer can put up the kind of impact Barkley had in Philly, the Bills added key starters across both sides of the ball this offseason.

If they can mirror the Eagles' success from last season, Buffalo might be entering their best year yet.

And finally, place them among the top tier of teams in the last decade.
