The end of the Premier League season is almost upon us, as Arsenal prepare to play in the top-flight for the final time in 2024/25.
The Gunners take on bottom-of-the-table Southampton at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon (4pm). A point would guarantee that Mikel Arteta's side finish in second place in the standings behind Liverpool.
The outcome of the season at the top of the table has now been known for the last few weeks, which has given Arsenal time to plan ahead for what could be a busy summer window.
The club continue to be linked with players as they look to bridge the gap to the top next season.
With that in mind, here's a look at a couple of the latest stories from in and around the Emirates Stadium;
Benjamin Sesko 'talks'
Arsenal are in 'concrete talks' with German side Red Bull Leipzig over a summer transfer for striker Benjamin Sesko, according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist reports that Andrea Berta has been in contact with the Bundesliga club regarding a deal, with Mikel Arteta highly rating Sesko. The Slovenian was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, before opting to stay with Leipzig instead.
He is said to have a release clause which will raise to €80million (£67m) this summer. The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga games this season.
football.london says: Sesko has been a long-term target for Arsenal, having been heavily linked with the player last summer. At £67million, he may be a bit more expensive than other targets such as Viktor Gyokeres, but he is also five years younger, meaning that he may be a better value for money signing in terms of both his value in the future and his potential.
Double winger update
Plettenberg has also given an update on another position that Arsenal would like to strengthen this season, with the club 'very active' when it comes to wingers.
The two names mentioned by the journalist are Real Madrid's Rodrygo and Atalanta's Ademola Lookman. It is said that talks with agents and clubs over potential moves are underway.
Lookman is reported to be a target, due to his versatility to play in several different positions along the front line. The former Everton and Fulham man has scored 15 times in 30 Serie A appearances this season.
football.london says: Lookman is a name who has been mentioned with Arsenal a couple of times. His versatility would make him a clever signing. During his time in England with Charlton, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City, he was mainly used out on the wing. He, however, has more often been used in a more central second striker role by Atalanta, which would be an advantage for Arsenal.
He will have two years remaining on his contract when the summer window opens, which could tempt Atalanta into selling him. They are, though, likely to demand a big fee for the 27-year-old, with reports in Italy claiming the price to be around the £42million-mark.
