Liam Delap may be inching closer to Everton in the upcoming transfer window after considerable efforts from The Friedkin Group (TFG).
The Toffees have enjoyed a decent campaign since David Moyes’ return midway through the season after fears of relegation under Sean Dyche.
Now, the Friedkins must make further progress at the Merseyside outfit after an impressive start since replacing Farhad Moshiri.
Delap is seen as a marquee signing at Bramley-Moore Dock, and TFG have taken a massive step to beat other Premier League competitors to seal the English striker’s signing.

Delap has held face-to-face talks with the Blues ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist revealed on X (24 May) that the Toffees presented their project to the Ipswich Town striker in a direct meeting, with Moyes also involved.
It’s been claimed that the Merseyside outfit are willing to offer the 22-year-old. who has a release clause of £30million, an important salary.

TFG to sanction massive squad overhaul for Moyes at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Abdoulaye Doucoure is one of the key players Everton will lose after his contract expires at the end of the season.
Moyes may also be without Dominic Clavert-Lewin at the start of the upcoming campaign, with the 28-year-old centre-forward also in the final year of his deal.
Armando Broja will return to Chelsea after an injury-hit season, leading to a loss of depth up front at the Merseyside outfit.
