Ruben Amorim
Ruben Amorim is set for a busy transfer window at Man United
In the wake of Manchester United's Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, plenty has been said on the players, manager, board and hierarchy at Old Trafford.
Wednesday night's disappointing evening in Bilbao means United will play the 2025/26 season with no European football, only the second time in the last 35 years. A possible 17th-placed finish in the Premier League means it's been a disaster from start to finish at Old Trafford.
and the winger's brother criticise the United boss.
Perhaps one of the least-surprising things to emerge in the past 48 hours is news that United will listen to offers for every single first-team player. The Mirror reported on Thursday that no player is immune from being sold this summer, including star player Bruno Fernandes, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.
Defeat to Spurs means United will miss out on just over £100million in revenue brought in from the Champions League. Away from that, United also face losing out to their top targets with players like Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen all expected to move elsewhere.
Work is to be done to improve Amorim's team for next season but for that to happen, the emphasis placed on player sales has increased. And according to defender Luke Shaw, every player must question their ability to stay at the club.
"It's hard to put into words the season, but I think for a club like Manchester United it's not really good enough," he said. "I think definitely me and I think all of us have to question ourselves tonight. Are we good enough to be here?

"Because this club, this season, it's not acceptable. We know that and it's down to us.
“So like I said, I think it's really tough to take. It's hard to say anything else really apart from what I've just said. I think we have to look at ourselves. Something has to change.”
A player doesn't say that without having an idea of certain individuals who aren't good enough. The likes of Casemiro, Andre Onana, Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and even Shaw himself have been criticised for their performances this season. If they were all to be sold, I'm not sure fans would vote against it.
The decision, though, will be made by Amorim and the hierarchy. If the right bid comes in for a player, United could sell at least 10 first-team players.
