The Red Devils will say goodbye to the 2024/25 season at Old Trafford as they will welcome Champions League-chasing Aston Villa to the North West on Sunday afternoon.
Who are the ‘dirtiest teams’ in the Premier League?
With just one weekend to play, teams will be looking back on the season and considering what they did well, and what they could have done better. One aspect of that will be how many fouls they gave away across the season.
On top of that, how many yellow cards they picked up, because it can cause selection issues when top names begin to get suspended for accumulating several yellows or getting sent off.
But who were the dirtiest teams in the league this year...?
20 - Manchester City - 57 yellow cards
Pep Guardiola’s side managed to pick up the lowest number of yellow cards this season with just 57, which is an average of 1.54 per game. It will be something that the City manager will hope to continue next season.
19 - Brentford - 61 yellow cards
18 - Liverpool - 63 yellow cards
17 - Arsenal - 64 yellow cards
16 - Tottenham 67 yellow cards
15 - Newcastle United - 67 yellow cards
14 - Aston Villa - 70 yellow cards

The Red Devils are the seventh-dirtiest team in the league based on yellow cards picked up this season.
They have been booked 82 times, which amounts to an average of 2.22 per game. Furthermore, United picked up three red cards, which is the joint-fourth-most in the league too.

5 - Ipswich Town - 84 yellow cards
4 - Leicester City - 85 yellow cards
3 - Southampton - 89 yellow cards
2 - Bournemouth - 97 yellow cards
1 - Chelsea - 97 yellow cards
Chelsea and Bournemouth are tied for the most yellows this season on 97, which works out at 2.62 per game.
The most red cards went to Arsenal, despite the fact that they were 17th on the list of yellow cards. Gunners players were sent off six times this season.
