Blackburn Rovers fans do not need any excuse to reminisce and as the curtain drew on a far less dramatic Premier League season, memories were evoked of their famous day at Anfield 30 years ago.
It is hard to imagine there will be a more glorious moment in the club's famous history any time soon. Under Jack Walker, they climbed the mountain and reached the summit. Even if the fall has been painful, you won't find a Rovers fan that would trade it in.
For Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton, it was the only Premier League titles of their careers. Whilst the former may be better known nowadays for his ties to boyhood club Newcastle United, he will always be the man who fired Rovers to the title.

As Blackburn fans know too well, it could've been so different at Anfield. Shearer is honest enough to admit they felt their chance had gone when Jamie Redknapp curled in a last-minute winner.
"Liverpool fand didn't really want their team to win. They knew they were giving Manchester United the chance to win the league," Shearer told BBC Sport, recalling the final day.
"We had a great start, I put us 1-0 up. It was a really weird atmosphere, huge roars throughout the day so we knew there was a goal at Upton Park.
"We had our opportunities but we didn't take them. Chris Sutton's chance was far easier than mine, he should've scored and made us all a bit more relaxed. I miss one as well which we won't talk about.
"When the goal went in, I thought we've blown it, lost it. Ten seconds later and the whole ground was euphoric, it had to be that the final whistle had gone at Upton Park and Manchester United hadn't won.
"The title was ours. The West Ham goalkeeper had one of those performances where he wasn't going to be beaten. We love you Luděk Miklosko, you had the game of your life so thank you.
"That's when the party started and the hard work for three years and the dream that they sold to me became reality."
"Jack Walker did everything for Blackburn Rovers. He loved the town and the club, he wanted to invest his money," he continued.
"It was his dream to see his beloved Blackburn Rovers win the Premier League. With a great manager in Kenny Dalglish, we always felt it stood a very good chance of happening.
"We went from the Old First Division to Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League. We finished fourth in our first year, second in your second season. A good achievement but not good enough, we wanted to win it."
The title-winning season will forever be known for SAS. Shearer and Sutton. Whilst Rovers' number nine may have took most of the plaudits, it was a match made in heaven.
"They were a team on the up. I felt like they were building something," Sutton recalled.
"The SAS had a nice ring to it! Alan was the main guy and I understood my role in that relationship.
"Manchester United had that amazing quality of getting over the line and it was up to us to knock them off their perch. We knew they'd push us all the way."
