Manchester United would be willing to lose over £100m on their flops with a major fire sale planned this summer. The Red Devils are in desperate need of funds after failing to win the Europa League, and with it seal a return to the Champions League.
In the aftermath of their defeat to Spurs in Bilbao, every member of United’s squad was put up for sale, with a major rebuild under Ruben Amorim anticipated this summer. And it appears that club chiefs have already set prices for those they are willing to bid farewell to.
According to the Mail, the club are hoping to receive around £60-70m for Argentine forward Alejandro Garnacho. He looks unlikely to have a future at the club after his furious outburst following the Europa League final.
"Up until the final I played every round helping the team, and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know," said Garnacho. "The final will influence [my decision] but the whole season, the situation of the club. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards."
Garnacho has been linked with both Napoli and Chelsea over recent months. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is also expected to leave permanently after his loan spell at Aston Villa. United have put a £40m price tag on the forward.

And while the pair would represent pure profit from a PSR standpoint, the same cannot be said of Rasmus Hojlund and Antony. The pair have failed to hit expectations at Old Trafford following big-money switches and it now appears they could be sold for far less than signed for.
It is suggested that United would be willing to accept around £25-30m for Hojlund - a huge decrease on the £72m transfer fee they paid Atalanta two years ago. And United could lose even more when it comes to Antony.
Despite being signed for a huge £88m, it appears that he could be sold for as low as £25m. Antony has actually impressed during a loan spell with Real Betis but it appears unlikely that the Spanish side will be able to afford a permanent deal.

Club president Angel Haro said recently: “His name was put on the table by the sporting director. It was a low-priced approach because Manchester United assumed almost all the salary. The player wanted to come to Betis. It was a pure loan, it was very cheap for Betis and there was no option to negotiate anything.
“Keeping Antony is very, very complicated. We will have a meeting with Manchester United to extend the loan for another year, to be able to share a percentage of the player… It’s about seeing the predisposition of the player and Manchester United.
“The first filter is put by Manchester United, and then the negotiation of the player would come, but that is a long way off. In addition, now the player is plugged in wanting to lift a title with Betis. When the time comes and the season is over, he will be able to do his part if this option opens up.”
