Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs to have been linked with Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.
The English forward has a £30million release clause at Ipswich as they got relegated from the Premier League this season.
The 22-year-old is poised to be on the move this summer after scoring 12 league goals in 36 games.

United handed blow in Delap chase as David Moyes confirms talks

He also admitted that three or four other sides had spoken to the 22-year-old, putting Everton behind the black ball.

According to the Mirror (24 May), the Scotsman’s admission has handed United a further blow in their quest to sign Delap.
This comes after they lost the Europa League final against Spurs, which undoubtedly has hurt their chances of bringing the forward to Old Trafford.
Moyes said: “We have had a chance to speak to him.
“He’s spoken to three or four clubs and he’s given us the opportunity to pitch our case. We’re probably a little bit behind the black ball but you never know what happens.”

Everton can still convince Delap to sign
Everton can leverage several compelling factors to convince Delap to join them in the summer.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract expiring and Armando Broja returning to Chelsea after his loan, the Toffees can offer Delap the role of first-choice centre-forward, a position the 22-year-old is unlikely to secure at clubs like Manchester United or Chelsea, where competition for spots is fiercer.
Moyes, known for his tactical acumen, can pitch a clear development plan, emphasising regular playing time to enhance Delap’s growth after his 12-goal Premier League season at Ipswich.
Everton’s storied history, passionate fanbase and the chance to be a focal point in their attack at Hill Dickinson Stadium’s first season add emotional appeal.
While they can’t offer European football, unlike Chelsea, the Merseyside outfit’s focus on youth could position them as the ideal stepping stone for his career ambitions.
