It could affect the financial ability to build and progress as a football club. If they decide to go for a full academy recruitment model, that is fine. Doing both, also signing players for heavy transfer fees and stretching their wage bill, will end in failure. A club like Leicester City cannot achieve both. Then they must move out of their own area. Building the club somewhere else would be an even worse tragedy.
Leicester owners did leave their mantra when getting success. Strange behavior has been observed when money became available. Over different decades, they have used money unwisely.
