Manchester United are looking to revamp their attack after a dismal season has seen them set to end the Premier League campaign in the bottom half of the table.

With a significant 21-game goalless streak for Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggling to find his feet in his first season at Old Trafford, United are looking to upgrade their strike options for next season.

The Red Devils are on the verge of signing Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, however their other plans are now slightly up in the air.

Their dream signing was Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, however United won’t be able to afford to reunite Ruben Amorim with his former striker after losing the Europa League final.

As such the club are looking to other targets with Liam Delap of Ipswich currently at the top of their list.

However, another contender is Brighton and Hove Albion striker Joao Pedro.

Rob Dorsett has reported that United are joining Liverpool and Chelsea in their pursuit of the Brazilian striker.

With 10 goals and seven assists in 30 games this season, including goals against Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City, it’s understandable why the top Premier League teams are monitoring the striker.

However, Chelsea look to be in the lead for his signature, with the 23-year-old keen to begin discussing terms with the London-based club.

Whilst no bids have been made for the striker as of yet, it’s understood that Brighton are wanting in excess of £50 million for their first choice striker.
