While there isn’t a great deal on the line for Vitor Pereira’s side, the Old Gold will nonetheless want to return to winning ways after three consecutive defeats against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Manchester City.
Brentford, on the other hand, still have the chance to qualify for the Europa Conference League, but will need to take all three points away from Molineux if they are to have a chance of overhauling Brighton in eighth.
In a blow to the home side, the Bees are also boosted by the return of a £17m defender after an extended injury layoff.
Thomas Frank confirms Aaron Hickey is available to play against Wolves
Speaking in his press conference before the Wolves clash, Frank revealed that defender Aaron Hickey will be in the away side’s matchday squad for the first time since October 2023.
The Scotland international was signed by Brentford in the summer of 2022 after two strong seasons with Serie A side Bologna.
After picking up a hamstring injury in October 2023, however, the 22-year-old defender has suffered repeated setbacks.

Hickey’s return therefore gives his side more options at left-back, especially with Rico Henry also a long-term absentee.
Frank added of Hickey’s return: “I’m very pleased for him. He’s worked very hard and this is a little bonus before he goes into the summer.”
