Cats Insider: Added and canceled official visits

The latest in Kentucky football recruiting news and notes.

- Eastern Kentucky wide receiver Bryant Johnson Jr. was a late addition to the transfer portal. Although Kentucky did reach out and gauge the Cincinnati Winton Woods product's interest as well as the current state of his process, it does not sound like the conversations were anything more than exploratory. Johnson has six receptions for 100 yards in his four years at the school. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

- San Antonio (Tex.) Cornerstone Christian wide receiver Davis McCray was scheduled to take an official visit to Kentucky June 13. He has moved that trip up to May 30. Additional trips are scheduled with Rice (June 6), Houston (June 13), Columbia (June 15) and Washington State (June 20).

- Co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Chris Collins has an official visit on the books with Katy (Tex.) cornerback Isaiah McMillan. The Texas native will be in Lexington June 3. 247Sports' No. 77 cornerback also has trips on the books with Arizona (May 30), Pittsburgh (June 13) and Houston (June 20).
