Manchester United will hope to bounce back from their Europa League final defeat when they face Aston Villa on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim’s side suffered a dismal 1-0 loss at the hands of Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Bilbao on Wednesday, ending their hopes of qualifying for European competition next term.
At present the Red Devils sit 16th in the top flight standings, meaning they will not compete in any form of European competition next season.
The defeat in Bilbao has piled pressure on Amorim, who has own just six of his 26 Premier League games in charge of the club since taking charge in November last year.
Now, it has emerged that one of United’s most important players has attracted significant interest from elsewhere.
According to TBR Football, midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been offered a huge contract by the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese has been arguably United’s most impressive performer this season, recording a combined 38 goals and assists in 56 matches for the Manchester outfit across all competitions.
His impressive displays have attracted interest from the Middle East, though, and the report claims that the Saudi Pro League have offered the midfielder a contract that would make him the division’s third-highest earner, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
It is claimed that Fernandes has been offered a staggering £860,000-per-week to move to Saudi, and the player himself is said to be open to the prospect of the move.
He is, however, aware that United are reluctant to sell the 30-year-old during the upcoming transfer window, and he is therefore likely to stay put.
Despite United reiterating that Fernandes is not for sale, the report claims that the Pro League are not yet giving up on the idea of luring him to the Middle East.
