Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has insinuated that he will not be attending this weekend's Premier League fixture between Nottingham Forest and Chelsea after fellow Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville was banned from the City Ground.
Former Manchester United full-back Neville revealed on Friday that he had been denied accreditation and access to the stadium as a co-commentator for Sunday's game in the East Midlands.
The 50-year-old former England international has dished out his fair share of criticism to the Nottinghamshire outfit since they returned to the Premier League in 2022.

Earlier this month, Neville described Evangelos Marinakis' behaviour at the end of the 2-2 draw with Leicester City as "scandalous" after the Forest owner stormed the pitch to confront manager Nuno Espirito Santo for his failure to substitute the injured Taiwo Awoniyi prior to the Foxes' equaliser in stoppage time.
As a result of rising tensions between Forest and Neville, the defender-turned-pundit revealed he has been denied access to Forest's final game of the season against Chelsea on Sunday.
Writing on Instagram on Friday night, Neville said: "I was contacted by Sky Sports earlier on in the week and told that I would be commentating at the City Ground on Sunday for the Nottingham Forest v Chelsea match.
"I was informed yesterday by Sky Sports that Nottingham Forest would not give me an accreditation or access to the stadium as a co-commentator. I’ve had no choice but to withdraw from the coverage.
"I’ve dished out my fair share of criticism and praise in the last 14 years of doing this job and have never come close to this unprecedented action.
"Personally, I think it’s disappointing that a great club like Nottingham Forest have been reduced to making such a decision. Whilst they have every right to choose who they let into their own stadium, it’s symptomatic of things that have happened over the last 12 months with the club.
"I wish the coaching staff, players and fans of the club all the best in their quest to achieve Champions League football."
The Daily Mail reports that Sky Sports have drawn up new plans for the Super Sunday coverage and will now present the show from their studio in West London, rather than the City Ground.
However, Sky Sports will still send a commentary team to the City Ground.
But it seems unlikely that former Liverpool defender Carragher will be part of that team in the East Midlands after he revealed on Neville's Instagram post that he had held talks with Marinakis.
The 47-year-old replied to Neville's statement with a series of 'crying laughing' emojis before Neville asked if he had also been denied accreditation to the City Ground.
"He said I was fine to commentate, but I couldn't go near the pitch," replied Carragher. "I said, 'I'm not coming at all if you're not letting Gary in', so he told me to, 'F**k off'."
