Forget Wissa and Mbuemo, Vitor Pereira has another 'fantastic' Brentford player to worry about

Wolves face off against Brentford on the final day, and the Bees pose a number of threats to Vitor Pereira’s side.

The Molineux outfit were comfortably beaten by Crystal Palace last time out and will be looking to get back to winning ways versus the Bees.

Wolves’ poor record on the final day, mixed in with Brentford’s hunt for European football, suggests Pereira’s men could be in for a tough afternoon.

Thomas Frank’s side have again exceeded expectations this season, with the likes of Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo helping fire the Bees to an unlikely European charge.

With 38 Premier League goals between them, many would view Wissa and Mbeumo as the main threats. There is, however, another dangerous Brentford player for Wolves to consider.

Kevin Schade is a danger for Wolves

Wissa and Mbeumo will no doubt be a big part of Pereira’s pre-match plan, but fellow attacker Kevin Schade is also someone to be very wary of.

The German forward has enjoyed his best season in a Brentford shirt, notching eleven goals and two assists so far.

Three of Schade’s goals would come against Leicester back in November in a 4-1 win, with Bees boss Frank singing the praises of the 23-year-old post-match.

“The shining star today was Kevin Schade.

“I celebrated so much his first because I know how hard it’s been for him because he’s had so many injuries and he’s wanting to play in the team.

“He scored three and got a fantastic assist and looked like such a threat and was such a handful.”

Nelson Semedo could be key in stopping Schade

Pacey, direct and an endless runner – Wolves will have their hands full trying to manage Schade.

The German has played the majority of his football off the left flank, meaning he will likely come up against Nelson Semedo.

Wolves missed the experience of the Portuguese against Palace, and he could be key in thwarting Brentford’s attack.

Semedo’s future is still uncertain, but a solid performance up against Schade would no doubt help persuade Fosun to hand him a new deal at Molineux.
