Russel Martin looks to be the next manager at Leicester. He will be introduced sometime next week. This could start a long run of different transfers in and out.

Wout Faes will be among a group of players believed to be close to a move. He will join Lazio for a fee in the region of £10million. Negotiations with Sheffield United for Hamza Choudhury will take place. This will happen as soon as they find out if they are staying down or going up. Hamza looks to leave the club, but the price tag can differ coming to The Blades division status.

Patson Daka, Harry Souttar, Jannik Vestergaard, Harry Winks, James Justin, Caleb Okoli, Kasey McAteer, Jeremy Monga, and Jake Evans have uncertain situations. These players are facing insecurities. They are chased by other clubs, or are facing difficulties regarding their stature at the club.

Wilfred Ndidi, Bouba Soumare, Mads Hermansen and Bilal El Khannouss are other players being on the radar of other clubs. A new manager must decide on all of these matters. They need to understand what the club can and will do regarding this major group of players.

We believe Wilfred Ndidi will be staying at Leicester. He will be of great importance. He signed his contract just last summer. Therefore, he is not in a frame to leave the club and the area behind.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is a name sirculating. He has had a change of fortunes under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but still looks to be on the way out at Besiktas. He was previously linked with a move to Leicester. Aaron Ramsdale is another experienced player at another club. Jeffrey Schlupp is a third. All are more or less ready to move on. Leicester are linked with all of them.

The current Leicester squad looks very unbalanced, coming to players in different positions, age groups and expectation levels. This must be top priority and getting this wrong will of course again cost. Too many old men cannot push Leicester forward. Having a few is fine. However, this summer, we need to see some structure.
