West Ham are set to back Graham Potter in the transfer market this summer.
The former Brighton man has endured a miserable campaign since taking over from Julen Lopetegui in January.
David Sullivan needs to give him funds to improve the squad that he inherited in East London, otherwise the results will likely be the same next season and supporter frustration will continue.

West Ham make Harwood-Bellis contact ahead of summer swoop
The London Stadium outfit have been linked with Southampton star Taylor Harwood-Bellis and could accelerate their interest just one year after his £20million move to St Mary’s.
A report from TEAMtalk (24 May) claims that the Hammers have enquired about the 23-year-old and have identified him as a key target.

Potter needs a big summer at West Ham
There needs to be a major overhaul in E20 in the offseason, if Potter is going to succeed next season and reverse his reputation which has nosedived at Chelsea and now with the East London outfit.
While there is no pressure on his job right now, that could change if his side begins the new season in the same wretched form as they have ended this one and Sullivan decides to pull the trigger.
Stats (Premier League) Harwood-Bellis
Matches 34
Ground duels won 108 (50.7%)
Aerial duels won 63 (55.8%)
Minutes played 2,828
Harwood-Bellis would improve the Irons.
Defensive reinforcements are absolutely crucial, the Hammers have conceded the fifth-most goals in the league this season with Tottenham also on 61, and only the relegated sides and Wolves letting in more than them.
A new centre-back is a desperate need as well as a new goalkeeper, with Liverpool stopper Caoimhin Kelleher reportedly high on Potter’s wishlist for a £20m swoop.
They could also make a double Saints swoop as they are also interested in England star Aaron Ramsdale to replace the departing Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola.
The Irons need to be more defensively secure next season, if they are not, it does not matter what attacking players that they bring in, they will still conceded a lot and be in the bottom half.
