Aaron Rodgers reveals final Pittsburgh Steelers decision

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a giant question mark around the quarterback position all offseason after both of their starters from last season signed with new teams in free agency.

The Steelers have been linked to veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who played last season with the New York Jets, throughout the offseason. However, Rodgers remains unsigned and has acknowledged that he is contemplating retirement.

However, Rodgers recently dropped a major hint on what he has planned for the future, according to Pro Football Talk.

Rodgers recently made an appearance in Austin, Texas, with rapper Mike Stud and was asked whether or not he’d ever sign with the Chicago Bears, who were Rodgers’ biggest rival for the bulk of his career, from his days with the Green Bay Packers.

“I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip,” Rodgers answered.

Notably, the Steelers play in Chicago this season. Fans reacted to Rodgers’ statement on social media.

“As a Green Bay resident, and Packers fan, good luck to whatever team takes him. So glad that we don’t have to deal with that drama anymore,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I don’t know why Pittsburgh is wasting there time he’s wash up ,I bet Will Howard is better then Aaron now,” someone else added.

“I would rather having a growing year with Will Howard, that kid Wants to be here,” one Steelers fan wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see what Rodgers ultimately decides to do.
