Nottingham Forest’s 19 Premier League opponents for the 2025/26 season have been finalised following the conclusion of the Championship play-off final on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland make up the Premier League for next season.

Leeds return to the top flight after two seasons in the Championship, ending the 2024/25 campaign as champions after reaching 100 points and a goal difference of +65.

Forest claimed maximum points against the Whites in our last home Premier League meeting with Brennan Johnson netting the only goal of the game. Leeds won 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Elland Road.

Second-place Burnley also finished the season on 100 points, with Leeds only taking the title on goal difference.

Our last meeting with the Clarets at The City Ground ended in a 1-1 draw with the Reds taking the points at Turf Moor with a 2-1 win.

The two clubs are joined in the Premier League by Sunderland following the Black Cats' win in the play-off final against Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.

We haven't faced Sunderland in the Premier League for 28 years with the sides last facing off in the top flight in 1996/97.

Leaving the Premier League this season are Southampton, Ipswich Town and Leicester City, the Foxes’ second relegation in three seasons.

The trio of clubs return to the Championship having all won promotion to the Premier League in 2023/24.
