Chelsea’s Defensive Plans
Chelsea are working tirelessly to sign defensive targets to re-shape their backline for new manager Enzo Maresca. Araujo is a prime target, but the Blues have also been following a number of alternatives. Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Premier League centre-backs Marc Guehi and Jarrad Branthwaite. Crystal Palace defender Guehi is already familiar to the club, having graduated from the Chelsea academy.
