George Kittle’s Wife Sends Him Clear Message on Saturday

On Saturday, San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle marked a major personal milestone.

While NFL fans were waking up to another spring weekend, Kittle took to his Instagram story to celebrate his wife Claire’s birthday and to relive one of their most unforgettable moments on the field.

In the photo, the couple share an on-field kiss, framed by stadium lights and confetti, just moments after the 49ers clinched the NFC Championship with a 34-31 victory over the Detroit Lions on January 28, 2024.

Claire promptly reshared the image on her own story, captioning it simply, "We’re gonna need another one of these moments."

Since entering the NFL as a fifth-round pick (No. 146) in 2017 out of the University of Iowa, George Kittle has steadily built one of the finest resumes ever assembled by a tight end.

In eight NFL seasons, he has earned six Pro Bowl selections (2018, 2019, 2021-2024), First-Team All-Pro in 2019 and 2023, and Second-Team All-Pro in 2018, 2022, and 2024.

He has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in four seasons and set franchise records for most receiving yards in a season (1,377) and game (210) by a tight end.

In 2024 alone, Kittle hauled in 78 passes for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns, and remains a cornerstone of the 49ers’ offense.

On April 29, 2025, Kittle inked a four-year, $76.4 million extension, $40 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid tight end in football.

With the 2025 NFL Season set to kick off in September, Kittle will look to help the 49ers reclaim a playoff berth and chase another Lombardi Trophy.
