Liverpool forward Ben Doak could potentially be one of the few to cross the city divide with a transfer to Everton next summer.
The Toffees are preparing for the upcoming transfer window, with the final game of the season set to be played against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday (25 May).
David Moyes could have Ben Doak at his disposal next season, with the Blues mooted to complete a great move for the 19-year-old Scotsman.
Despite the Merseyside rivalry, The Friedkin Group (TFG) are pushing for the youngster’s signature, which may not please the Anfield faithful.

The news outlet reports (23 May) that the Blues are considering a move for the 19-year-old ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
While the Scotland international enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Middlesbrough, his season ended after an injury in January, and it remains to be seen whether Moyes’ team will match the Reds’ valuation.

Gary Ablett was the last player to sign for the Toffees from Liverpool in 1992, showcasing how rare such transfers are.
Doak is one of the most promising talents at Anfield, and the Reds’ supporters will surely fume at seeing him join their bitter rivals.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has received ire from his supporters after a decision to leave as a free agent at the end of the season, and one can only imagine what the Scottish youngster will go through if he opts to sign for the Blues.

Moyes should spend £30m on different transfer at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Moyes will be without Jack Harrison at Everton next season unless his loan move from Leeds United is made permanent next summer.
Iliman Ndiaye has been a revelation at Goodison Park this season, and the Toffees should prioritise a similar transfer for the right-hand side of the attack.
While Doak was impressive in the Championship, the Premier League will be a big step up for him, and the hefty price tag will also put a lot of expectations on him.
A move to Hill Dickinson Stadium may be too much for the 19-year-old mentally at this stage, and it’d be better for the Blues to pursue other targets.
