Buccaneers Legend Tom Brady Raising Gold Standard

A constant topic of discussion in the sports world is who is considered the "G.O.A.T", or the greatest of all time. Stats get thrown around for who is the best: Michael Jordan or Lebron James? Someone who is never debated in the National Football League as being the best to ever do it is Tom Brady.

There is not much that Brady did not accomplish in his career after being selected in round six of the NFL draft in 2000. Brady went on to win seven total Super Bowls, six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

Over his career, he won several individual awards as well, such as five Super Bowl MVPs , three Most Valuable Player honors, five times leading the league in touchdown passes, and four times leading the league in passing yards.

Writes the Daily Mail, citing a source: "He wants a gold medal."

Flag Football is set to be debuted as an Olympic sport, starting with the 2028 games in Los Angeles. Brady has previously expressed an interest in playing.

How realistic is this goal you might ask? Brady was known for a lot of things in the sports world, but he was also known for the very strict nutritional plan he kept up with to ensure his body could withstand the grind of the NFL season. He would be 50 years old by the time the Olympic games came back around, but many eyes will be watching to see if the G.O.A.T makes his return to the field.
