Liverpool are interested in making another move for Anthony Gordon in the summer transfer window and the winger would be keen to join, according to TBR Football.
Arne Slot arrived at Anfield with much skepticism, as many wondered how the Dutchman would fare taking over from such a beloved figure in Jurgen Klopp, who had been Liverpool manager for almost a decade before his 2024 departure. Despite adding only Federico Chiesa to his team, Slot proved all of his doubters wrong.
Liverpool won their second-ever Premier League title with four games to spare, never looking likely to relinquish top spot in the highest tier of English football. The Reds are already making moves to defend their title, with Liverpool having agreed to sign Jeremie Frimpong as a replacement for the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Not only that, but Liverpool are edging closer to a deal for Florian Wirtz, Frimpong’s Bayer Leverkusen teammate. The Merseyside club are evidently attacking the transfer market and with Slot wanting attacking reinforcements, it appears another target has emerged for Liverpool.

TBR Football noted that, in the 2024 summer window, Liverpool were actively trying to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, only for the winger to sign a new contract with the club later that summer. Since moving north from Everton in 2023, Gordon has become one of Newcastle’s best attacking players, being called "unbelievable" for his displays.

It now appears that Liverpool are keen to reignite their interest in the player, who would cost them over £75 million, according to TBR Football. Amidst speculation around winger Luis Diaz’s future at Liverpool, Gordon would be an ideal candidate to replace the Colombian should he depart Anfield.
A boyhood Liverpool fan, who would reportedly welcome a move to the club, it is hard to imagine Gordon saying no to the Reds should they decide to push ahead with a transfer.
