Barcelona Atletico won their final game of the season 2-1 against Unionistas de Salamanca but it wasn’t quite enough to prevent relegation.
Sergi Mila’s side came from behind to take the three points on a chaotic final day. The Blaugrana had looked set for defeat but equalised through Alan Godoy and then scored a dramatic 89th winner by Diego Percan.

The winning goal actually had Barcelona staying up for a few precious minutes. Osasuna B were losing to Ourense in the other crucial fixture, meaning Mila’s boys were safe.
However, Osasuna B struck an equaliser in the 96th minute which confirmed Barca Atletic’s relegation in heartbreaking fashion.

The results bring an end to a really tough season for Barca Atletic. Mila took over in February from Albert Sanchez but couldn’t quite keep the team up.
Juliano Belletti is now being tipped to take over after a brilliant campaign with the Under-19s and will be tasked with promotion next season.
