Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Brazilian striker this summer. The player is impressing in Premier League and has 17 goal involvements this season. But, now the Blues are said to be not willing to sign him handing the lead to Liverpool.

The Blues are keen to stick with their policy of signing young striker. They have many names linked with them amongst which one is Joao Pedro. He is 23 years old Brazilian striker who currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion.
Pedro has been very good for the Seagulls this season. He had scored 10 goals and picked 7 assists. Last season, he scored 20 goals along with 3 assists. This has made him a hot topic in summer window with big clubs lurking around him.
Chelsea unwilling to sign Joao Pedro
The Blues were also linked with the 23 year old Brazilian. But Ben Jacobs has now reported that the West London giants are not keen to sign Pedro. They have not held any talks regarding the signing of Pedro in the summer window.

Jacobs has added that Liverpool and Newcastle are keen to sign Pedro. Lastly, he added that Pedro can still leave the club but he won’t come cheap. Brighton are looking to make a huge profit on the £30 million they paid initially to sign the Brazilian from Watford.
Liverpool are in need of a new striker this summer. They are said to part ways with Darwin Nunez whereas Diogo Jota also finds his future unsecure. As for Newcastle, they are likely to enter striker market only if Isak opts to leave.
