The Mystics will travel to Phoenix to take on the Mercury in the final contest of a four-game road trip. Washington started its 2025 campaign 2-0 before fourth-quarter collapses against Golden State and Las Vegas dropped its record to 2-2.

Mystics rookies Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen have taken the league by storm, combining for 36 of Washington’s 72 points in Friday’s loss. Citron scored 19 points on 4-6 3pt, while Iriafen tallied a 17-point, 13-rebound double-double.

Washington’s star guard, Brittany Sykes, missed Friday’s contest with a leg injury and is listed as “Day-To-Day” entering Sunday’s contest. Sykes joins Shakira Austin as Mystics players questionable for the tilt against Pheonix.

The Mercury started 2025 with a pair of home wins over Seattle and Los Angelos before dropping a road contest to Seattle on Friday. Skyler Diggins continues to lead the Mercury, tallying a franchise record-tying 14 assists in Phoenix’s loss to Seattle.

Both teams will look to get back into the win column on Sunday in Phoenix.
