There goes the Thunder's all-time postseason point differential.
It's no surprise that a quality team like the Wolves would play with mojo at home, energized to avoid going down 0-3 with all the bounces and whistles and hustle plays going their way in friendly territory. That Oklahoma City would lay an egg, failing so utterly to silence the boos of the Minnesota crowd and the scrutiny of a skeptical, growing national audience, is more disappointing. OKC was down 20 after the first quarter (34-14), 31 at halftime (72-41), and ultimately by 40+ moments after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (14 points on 13 shots) checked out for the last time with four and a half minutes to go in the third. An embarrassment for OKC, start-to-finish, and a game that will certainly put the wind back in the sails of Anthony Edwards (30 points on 17 shots) and company heading into Game 4 on Monday night.
