The Minnesota Timberwolves' home-court edge extended into the postgame press conference on Saturday.
The Timberwolves steamrolled the Thunder 143-101 in Game 3, making the series 2-1. Energized by a home crowd, seven different Minnesota players reached double digits, led by Anthony Edwards' 30 points. The 143 points were a franchise playoff record for the Timberwolves.
After the game, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault tried to explain his team's rough outing. However, reporters had a hard time hearing him, as howls from Timberwolves fans echoed through his press conference.
"You can barely hear Mark Daigneault’s postgame press conference as presumably Wolves fans are walking near it and howling," Clemente Almanza of OKC Thunder Wire wrote on X.
Video later emerged with very prominent howls drowning out Daigneault’s presser.

When he could be heard, Daigneault gave full credit to the Timberwolves for the beatdown.
"Credit them first of all, they were ready to play," Daigneault said. “Generally, they were just much more physical and sharper, executed better and were more forceful than us."
Thunder forward Chet Holmgren expressed a similar sentiment.
“Wherever they wanted to go, they got there," Holmgren said. "They did what they wanted to do and we didn’t stop them."
Game 4 is scheduled for Monday in Minnesota. Oklahoma City is an early 3.5-point favorite for the matchup, per ESPN BET.
