Liverpool’s domestic rivals would have every reason to be concerned if they manage to sign both Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz in the summer.
Frimpong has agreed personal terms with Liverpool as he is edging closer to a return to England.
While Liverpool aim to sign Wirtz imminently and the player himself is keen on a switch to Anfield.
Having won the Premier League in his first season in charge, Arne Slot has evidently made the Reds one of the most attractive destinations in the world for some of the best players in Europe to join.
The fact that Liverpool look set to beat both Bayern Munich and Manchester City to the potential signing of Florian Wirtz speaks volumes of their status within world football.

Florian Wirtz should be excited about Milos Kerkez possibly joining Liverpool
Apart from playing alongside Frimpong for years to come under Arne Slot, what should also excite Wirtz is that Liverpool are seriously interested in signing Milos Kerkez.
Kerkez would love to join Liverpool and a move looks to be on the cards.
Liverpool could sign Kerkez for £40 million and the reason why Wirtz should be rubbing his hands about his potential arrival is that he could form a dangerous partnership alongside the Hungarian, much like he shared with Alejandro Grimaldo at Leverkusen.

The German international, who mostly played as a left-sided attacking midfielder under Xabi Alonso, wreaked havoc alongside Grimaldo — with the pair often making intelligent runs behind defences to find each other in space.
Kerkez is a similar kind of player to the Spaniard and he is also known for his intelligent off-the-ball movement and picking out Antoine Semenyo in space and vice-versa.
A creator like Wirtz could enjoy replicating a similar dynamic alongside the former AZ Alkmaar left-back, as a willing runner like the latter would make his job of breaking low blocks down much easier.
Much like Grimaldo, Kerkez could also evolve into a goalscorer if he signs for Liverpool as long as he similarly ventures into the box as Wirtz would often set the former Benfica defender up after darting behind backlines.
Liverpool’s internal stance about Kerkez is great news for Wirtz
Arne Slot could have a rare weapon on his hands that involves his left-back and attacking midfielder often linking up to score goals, which would make the Premier League champions even more dynamic in the final third.
While Kerkez has had an excellent season at Bournemouth, perhaps his stats do not make for the best reading when considering the lofty standards Andy Robertson has set over the years.

However, Liverpool consider Kerkez as a star and he could reach new heights if he plays alongside superior players such as Wirtz next season.
Fabrizio Romano revealed: “He’s a player who they like, Richard Hughes, Liverpool director had the player at Bournemouth so he knows him so well, not just in terms of how good he is on the pitch but also how good and professional he is off the pitch and for Liverpool is something absolutely important.”
“Then, the potential of this boy, Liverpool are convinced that he is really one for the present but also for the future eventually.”
