Love was among the notable guests in the team’s charity football game and appeared in front of reporters to answer several questions. He sat in front of media men post-game together with former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver who upfront declared that the USA team for flag football already have their quarterback. That is Jordan Love.

The Packers QB smiled at the announcement and suggested that there might have a chance he will don the red, white, and blue.

This is huge news given how negative some NFL officials are when it comes to flag football. Love previously said he was not thinking about it. However, he said he would love to represent the USA.

“I’m not even worried about flag football. I’ve got other things to worry about at this time,” Love said during an appearance at the Up and Adams show last month.

In another interview with Newswek, he also said that he’d rather have flag football professionals take care of it.

“I’m definitely excited to see the game of flag football be a part of the Olympics,” he said.

“And you know, hopefully, like you said, maybe some NFL players will be able to go out there and play in it, which would be pretty cool, but I’m gonna leave that to the actual flag football pros for now,
