Alejandro Garnacho’s representatives have had communication with Arsenal over a potential switch from Manchester United, TBR Football can exclusively reveal.
Garnacho faces a very uncertain future at Man United following his comments in the fallout of their Europa League final defeat.
The Argentina international made it very clear that he was unhappy about being omitted from Ruben Amorim’s starting eleven for the match, a team selection which seemed to speak volumes.
Since, Amorim has confirmed that Garnacho will be sold, whilst the manager also confirmed that he himself wouldn’t be leaving Old Trafford when speaking to Man United’s squad.
But in a summer in which Arsenal are looking for a new right-footed winger, Garnacho’s agents have now begun looking towards north London.
Alejandro Garnacho’s agents have spoken to Arsenal
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can reveal that Garnacho’s agents have been in contact with Arsenal to confirm the winger’s current situation.
Garnacho has accepted that his future lies away from Man United, and both Atletico Madrid and Napoli remain hugely keen.

Atletico Madrid want to sign two Man United players this summer and it’s understood that Garnacho would cost around €60m (£51m) for interested sides.
Garnacho is keen on a switch to Atletico, but it remains to be seen which club makes the most concerted effort to sign the 20-year-old.
Napoli themselves have obviously had a lot of success recruiting from Old Trafford recently.
Sir Alex Ferguson was convinced about Scott McTominay’s talent at United before the midfielder was sold to Napoli, who have just won Serie A.
Andrea Berta is searching for a new winger at Arsenal
In terms of Arsenal’s efforts to improve their forward line, talks are still ongoing over both Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko — both have been spoken to in recent weeks.
And it’s a similar situation with wingers, Arsenal have added Real Madrid’s Rodrygo to their list, one that also contains several others.
Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Jamie Gittens, Nico Williams, Rafael Leao, Bryan Mbeumo, Ademola Lookman and Mohammed Kudus.
In addition, TBR can confirm that Arsenal are closely monitoring Anthony Gordon’s situation at Newcastle United.
And perhaps that explains why Garnacho’s people have been in contact with Arsenal, who are determined to upgrade their options in attack.
