Liverpool’s vice-captain and homegrown talent, Trent Alexander-Arnold, has taken to social media to share a message with fans as he prepares for his final match with the club.
Posting a picture on X of his boots inscribed with the years “2005 – 2025,” Alexander-Arnold captioned it: “20 years. Gave it everything.” , and also posted a story on his Instagram, captioned “One last time.”
This poignant message comes as the 26-year-old right-back is set to leave Liverpool upon the expiration of his contract, with strong links to a move to Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold has been a key component of Liverpool’s success since he joined the academy at the age of six. Making his senior debut in 2016, he has made 258 Premier League appearances, contributing 18 goals and 64 assists.
