Arsenal are currently exploring a move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo to improve their attack next season.
In addition to buying a new striker, Arsenal are also on the hunt for a new right-footed left winger, an upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Bukayo Saka has the right side of Mikel Arteta’s attack nailed down, however, neither Martinelli nor Trossard have quite reached those heights on the other flank.
As a result, Arsenal are interested in Rodrygo and there’s genuine belief that the Real Madrid winger could be Premier League bound this summer.
Rodrygo isn’t happy with his minutes and situation at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Arsenal might prevail as his perfect landing spot.
Martin Odegaard wants to sign Vinicius Junior for Arsenal
That being said, Martin Odegaard used to play for Real Madrid himself, meaning he might still have one eye on the situation in the Spanish capital.
Xabi Alonso is leaving Bayer Leverkusen to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid this summer, a move which might inspire some change in personnel.

Arsenal fans are getting excited that Rodrygo might actually be available this summer, a player who Arteta is thought to be a big fan of.
However, when speaking in March, Rodrygo wasn’t the Real player who Odegaard named when he admitted which player he’d most like to sign for Arsenal from the Galacticos.
Speaking to TV2 Sport, Odegaard admitted that he’d want to bring Vinicius Junior to Arsenal first and foremost if it was entirely up to him.
Before the Rodrygo links emerged, Arsenal’s captain was asked: “If you could sign any player for Arsenal, who would you take?”
Odegaard replied: “Now I just said that Vinicius is the best in the world so it’s natural to take him.”
Odegaard would surely still be happy to see Rodrygo join Arsenal
Of course, were Odegaard asked about the prospect of Rodrygo joining Arsenal in the near future, he’s unlikely to say no.
Rodrygo has been so important for Real Madrid in recent years, even if Kylian Mbappe has stolen some of that limelight.
Arsenal have started talks to sign Rodrygo according to reports but it’s already clear that a transfer to the Emirates Stadium won’t be easy.
The Gunners do have funds to spend but Andrea Berta is also focused on bringing the right number nine to north London.
That being said, one Manchester United player has been offered to Arsenal recently, which might prove to be a spanner in the works.
