Manchester City are gearing up for their final match of the season as the Premier League campaign draws to a close.
City will travel to face Fulham at Craven Cottage in their last match of the campaign. The fixture is also set to be the final outing for Kevin De Bruyne as a City player before the club legend departs when his contract expires later in the summer.
Pep Guardiola and Co. go into the game against Fulham looking to clinch qualification for the Champions League for next season.
A top-five finish is needed to book a spot in the tournament, with City currently in fifth place but are just two points ahead of Aston Villa in sixth.
Ahead of the final round of Premier League fixtures, a supercomputer has attempted to predict how the table will look after Sunday's matches. Opta Analyst have crunched the numbers and believe that City will stay in third place after facing Fulham.
The prediction states that City will finish with 69.92 points, which would be enough to finish third ahead of Newcastle United in fourth (68.26).
Aston Villa are predicted to finish in fifth place with 67.82 points, which is marginally ahead of Chelsea in sixth with 67.55 points.
Liverpool are already confirmed as Premier League champions while Arsenal are almost guaranteed to finish second in the table. City are three points behind the Gunners going into the final day but are eight goals behind on goal difference.
Thanks to City's current position, they are the overwhelming favourites to qualify for the Champions League compared to Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
Guardiola's team have a 96.7% likelihood that they will be playing Champions League football next term - only Liverpool and Arsenal have a higher percentage, with both clubs already confirmed in the tournament.
England will have six teams competing in the Champions League next season thanks to Tottenham Hotspur's victory on the Europa League final.
City will be aiming to be one of those six, with the predicted table highlighting how the odds are in their favour going into the final day of the campaign.
