Stina Blackstenius scored in the 74th minute to give Arsenal a 1-0 victory over Barcelona in the Women's Champions League final in Lisbon.

This win marks Arsenal's first European trophy in 18 years.

Ian Wright, former Arsenal striker, believes the Women's Champions League win has "saved the club" after the men's team failed to win any silverware this season.

Wright also stated that Arsenal Women deserve a parade for beating Barcelona, who he noted average four goals a game and were widely expected to win.

Wright admitted he was anxious watching the game and praised the team for their performance, especially after concerns about conceding too many goals in previous matches.
